You might be aware that Shropshire Council will be delivering CPD in areas such as Early Years, Safeguarding, Educational visits, SEN, etc. directly from September. Details of costs and how to book will be shared later in the term but via the link below is a list for the autumn term for Early Years and Safeguarding courses , so that you can put the dates in your diaries!

We are looking for examples of good work in SEND across our Early years settings to add to our SEF. If you have any case studies or photos of good SEND practice in your setting, please send them to Stephanie.Woods@shropshire.gov.uk .

This event is aimed at Early Years practitioners, childminders and teachers who are working with two-year olds. This is a reminder for those who are wishing to but have not yet completed the consultation around potential changes to the EYFS.
The Department for Education have opened an Early Years Foundation Stage Government Consultation, seeking view on proposed changes to the Safeguarding Requirements in the EYFS. They are consulting on proposals to strengthen the EYFS safeguarding requirements and make them more comprehensive for early years providers. The consultation is open to all Early Years Foundation Stage Government Consultation - Department for Education - Citizen Space.
