Service Update Recycling and Rubbish

Collections

These will continue as scheduled. If you are unsure what bin you need to put out or what day you can check this below.

In the event of serious disruption to waste collections

If we are unable to collect your waste – e.g. due to severe bad weather, please:

Leave your household waste bin out. If we can’t get to you on your scheduled collection day, we’ll come back and collect it as soon as it is safe to do so.
Take your garden waste bin back in and put it out on your next scheduled garden waste collection day.
Leave your recycling boxes and blue sacks out (as long as they don’t present a trip hazard). We’ll collect them as soon as it is safe to do so.

Household Recycling Centres

Recycling centres will remain open throughout the lockdown. To ensure a speedy service please sort your waste before you get to the recycling centre.

If you have a vehicle that needs a permit to enter the site please ensure you have applied online before you go.

Bulky Waste Collections

Bulky waste collections will continue to take place as booked.
