You can now have your say on key changes to the Sheffield Local Plan. The survey is live until 14 April.
The Plan is a long‑term blueprint that guides where new homes, jobs, transport links, and community facilities should go between now and 2039.
An exhibition about the Sheffield Local Plan will be on display across the city from 12th to 26th March. It will show how the Plan aims to guide new homes, support jobs and investment, and help Sheffield grow in a well‑planned and sustainable way.
The displays will also feature information about the current consultation on key changes to the Plan. You can visit the exhibition at the Moor Market, Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre, and Thorncliffe Health and Leisure Centre. It will be unstaffed and open to view during each venue’s normal opening hours.
The Sheffield Local Plan will help to grow our economy. It will ensure new jobs, workspaces, and businesses are developed in the right places, creating more opportunities for local people.
You can have your say on key changes to the Plan until 14 April 2026. Visit here.

We are delighted that the Hillsborough Park Activity Hub has been shortlisted for the MJ Award for Innovation in Public/Private Partnerships. It is a proud moment for the team and our partners.
The project has brought new life to the park. With Courtside Hubs CIC, the LTA, Sport England and local groups, we have created modern and inclusive spaces that support health, activity and community life.
This nomination shows the strength of the partnership and the value of local input. We are proud of what has been achieved and look forward to the next steps.
