Sheffield’s Working Jobs Fairs are co-organised by Opportunity Sheffield (Employment and Skills Service in Sheffield City Council) and Jobcentre Plus.
Whether you are unemployed and looking for work or are employed and looking to progress your career, come along to:
- Meet a range of local employers
- Talk to Opportunity Sheffield about training
- Gain employment and skills information, advice and guidance (IAG)

Volunteer as an Independent Visitor and support a child in care by sharing exciting activities like bowling, football, dining out, and more just once a month!
Your time could change a life.
Do you love reading and enjoy engaging with children? This could be your chance to help a child in Sheffield improve their reading skills.
All it takes is one hour a week spent reading together.
You don’t need prior experience working with children or young people; as long as you have enthusiasm and commitment, this opportunity is open to you.
