Get ready for Sector Safari – Sheffield’s brand-new city centre careers trail, launching this summer! Running from 23rd June to 10th August, this exciting and completely free experience invites young people and families to explore over 30 incredible local businesses, right in the heart of Sheffield.
From iconic venues like The Crucible and Curzon Cinema to civic landmarks like Sheffield Town Hall and Central Fire Station, the trail uncovers the diverse range of careers that power our city. You’ll even find surprises like Miss Crystal and The Millennium Gallery on the route!

We are aware of an increasing number of organisations that have careers based activities and resources on offer for Sheffield Schools, and so are developing a new section on our website dedicated to these. Examples could include practical classroom activities, work based projects, lesson in a box, workplace visit etc.
The See It Be It Team will be able to offer support with the following:

Previously known as "What to Expect in Schools and Colleges", these free, online information sessions give an overview of the See It Be It campaign, and ways for employers to get involved. They also cover education terminology, the volunteer role, tips on engaging with students and how to make the encounter meaningful, plus practical details around going onto a school site including student behaviour and safeguarding.
