Welcome to the Spring edition of the Sheffield SENDIAS newsletter!
The Easter break is almost here and in this edition there are some suggested holiday camps and activities in the Whats On? section to keep your child or young person busy this Spring.
We also have some drop in sessions and events with SENDIAS and local services for parents and carers to pop along to. Remember to keep up to date with everything Sheffield SENDIAS on our Website, Facebook and Instagram

Join us at our Drop-in at the PMC on Woodbourn Road, S9 3QL, on 13th May from 10am-12pm
The session will give parents the opportunity to chat to SSENDIAS officers and get advice. There will be a Punjabi speaking worker and is free for all to attend.
No need to book, just come along!

NeurodiverCity Sheffield
Previously known as the ADHD project, NeurodiverCity Sheffield provide support for families in Sheffield who are living with neurdivergence.
They host drop-in cafes all across the city where parents can chat to professionals and other parents to receive advice on a range of topics such as medication, benefits and education

Sheffield PCF have a Wednesday Night Club evening drop-in session for men who are caring for a child or young person with SEND. This is an informal session where you can have a coffee, a game of snooker or just a chat in a friendly and inclusive environment, no diagnosis required no need to book - just turn up!

Dates to remember...
Don't forget! For those transferring from secondary school to a post-16 placement, the EHC plan must be reviewed and amended by 31st March in the year of transfer.
