Sessions include fundraising support, money management, sustainability, creative facilitation and more. They are based on feedback in the strategy engagement work and are supported by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

Freelancer Skills Workshop Series
A workshop exploring practical tips and tricks for putting on or scaling up events in Sheffield and beyond. Led by Finn Warman, freelance creative producer and Artistic Director/CEO at Andro & Eve.
A panel discussion about how to build a career in festivals, and how to get your work programmed at festivals! Featuring speakers from Off The Shelf, Migration Matters and more to be announced.
An interactive workshop exploring tips, tricks, recommendations and skills development for fundraising, including crafting a plan for your project.
A talk and Q&A exploring potential legal structures for freelancers, collectives, partnerships and small organisations.
An informal workshop looking at how to make an access rider, and how it works in practice. Led by Emily Thew, Head of Creative Programme at RivelinCo.
A mini masterclass in adapting your creative practice into workshops, for people with limited experience of facilitation. Led by Deanna Rodger, poet and facilitator.
Advice and tips for making your freelance practice more sustainable, including writing a personal manifesto.
A day of workshops, talks and activities for Sheffield-based creative freelancers, which will equip you with advice and new skills. Sessions include fundraising, wellbeing, digital portfolio, coaching slots and a free lunch!
A session about designing workshops that cater to participants with a wide range of needs. Led by Grace Darbyshire, freelance facilitator and Youth Engagement Coordinator at RivelinCo.

Neighbourhood Artist Commission
This is a call-out for 6 Neighbourhood Artists to co-design and deliver exciting creative community projects in 6 local areas. The projects will explore people’s joys, challenges, and hopes about where they live.
£5000 is available for each large commission, and £2,500 for each small commission, plus a materials budget and a huge package of other support.
Deadline: 3rd March 2025
