The Brighter Future Fund is independently managed by care-experienced young people supported by the Council’s Children’s Involvement Service.
The fund will offer small grants which directly support care-experienced children and young people to build a brighter future.
Sheffield's Christmas Markets
The countdown to Christmas is on, with Sheffield Christmas markets set to return and an all-new festive weekend on the cards.
The Christmas markets will be back this year from Thursday 14th November, right up until Christmas Eve.
Voluntary Action Sheffield are to receive funding to improve support systems for frontline voluntary and community sector workers.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, voluntary and community sector workers supported people and communities which has taken its toll on these frontline workers. This is why these support systems have been put in place to help them keep doing all the fantastic work they do.
Following the recent General Election, the newly elected Member of Parliament for Stocksbridge & Penistone, Dr Marie Tidball MP, has joined the Stocksbridge Town Deal Board as the new Co-Chair alongside current Co-Chair, Yuri Matischen.
From Saturday 5th October, garden waste collections will start again. Your collection will be every 4 weeks at a weekend.
