Sheffield Walking Festival starts on Friday. There is another packed programme this year with 33 guided walks over 10 days - all free although spaces must be reserved.
A great variety is on offer from urban city strolls to more challenging routes into the Peak District - all led by knowledgeable and experienced walk leaders, representing a host of different community groups and organisations from across the city.

Sheffield’s biggest festival of heritage and culture is back this month with more than 100 free tours, walks, exhibitions and events.
Each year thousands of people from across the city and visitors from further afield enjoy exploring a wide and varied selection of places to visit and things to do, often in unusual locations or at places which are usually not open to the public.
