This bank holiday weekend is packed with events including the Sheffield Fayre, lots of free live music around the city centre and fabulous markets. Check out what's on below!
Sheffield Fayre takes place on bank holiday Monday, August 26th
Celebrating its 21st year, the Sheffield Fayre returns for a fantastic day out for all of the family in one of Sheffield’s most wonderful parks.
The free to attend event features funfair rides, food, crafts, vintage displays, birds of prey and more.
August 26th, 10.30am - 5pm Norfolk Heritage Park Free
Catch the National Universities Brass Band free concert series this bank holiday weekend as they perform an entertaining mix of music to suit all tastes.
Locations and times:
- Chapeltown Memorial Hall, Friday August 23rd, doors at 5pm
- Tudor Square, Saturday August 24th, from 2pm
- Sheffield Cathedral, Monday August 26th, doors at 2.30pm
Orchard Square is hosting a weekend of live music in partnership with The Leadmill.
The three-day city centre festival is open and free to all. The lineup features Harri Larkin, Archie Baker & The Blue Meanies, Shelley Byron, Matt Hook and the Steel City Ukes plus a host of family entertainment, silent discos, food, drink and more.

It's your last chance to visit Sheffield by the Seaside!
The Peace Gardens has been the place to be for lots of free family-friendly fun this summer with fairground rides, games, a giant sandpit, kid's entertainment and more.

Leah's Yard opens this Saturday, August 24th
Leah’s Yard opens its doors to the public for the first time this Saturday, August 24th following major transformation! It will feature fantastic names including Pete McKee, Bullion Chocolate, Hop Hideout and more.
Throughout the opening weekend there will be live music at the following times:
Saturday
- 10am - 1pm - musicians from Sheffield Music Hub
- 1pm - 3.30pm - Sheffield Youth Big Band and soloists
- 4pm - 5pm - artists from Tracks including Luky D and Curti$
Sunday
- 11am - 3pm - musicians from Sheffield Music Academy
- 3pm - 4pm - musicians from the University of Sheffield Music Department

Markets
Devonshire Green Festival
Sheffield is home to lots of lovely markets. This Saturday, August 24th is the free to attend Devonshire Green Festival featuring live music, street food and local artisan makers and the Makers Market at Kommune.
