Join Wessex Archaeology to learn about the latest discoveries from the recent Sheffield Castle excavations.
Archaeologists will be on hand to showcase their latest findings and chat through their work. There will be a selection of artefacts to handle or you could get creative and design your own coin or token.

A new ground-breaking arts exhibition sheds light on South Yorkshire’s hidden racial history.
Fourteen local artists of colour have explored local archives and produced dynamic new work to reveal the unknown history of people of colour in the region.
Make your way around Sheffield city centre and be moved by a stirring mixture of painting, poetry, puppetry, soundscapes, film, textiles, and live performance.

Sheffield will be buzzing with music throughout the weekend with the free outdoor stage - hosted by Sheffield City Council with support from Sheffield BID - at Devonshire Green and at least 40 local venues opening their doors with a vast variety of live music, DJs and performers.
Highlights include the main Fringe stage at Devonshire Green plus live music and DJs at venues including Leopold Square, Delicious Clam, the Forum and more.

'Sheffield's biggest party' returns to Hillsborough Park next week.
