Sheffield's Festival of Debate returns this week with a packed lineup and there are lots of other events going on around the city including one with 'paws for purpose'.

The UK's largest annual non-partisan politics festival is back next week.
Expect another challenging and diverse programme of events, featuring an array of well-known keynote speakers.

The famous Moore & Wright brand, born in Sheffield, is returning to its roots through the new Britain's Tool Factory exhibition at The Hawley Tool Collection, Kelham Island Museum.
With a history dating back more than 100 years, Moore & Wright is one of the most prominent names in measurement tools and one that is deeply rooted in the history of the steel city. Famous for its huge range of high-quality tools and measuring equipment, this new exhibition tells the story of the brand and its products as well as some of its former employees.

A family-friendly dog festival in Sheffield with fun dog shows, have-a-go agility, raffle prizes, local trade stalls, food and drink.
All proceeds from the event will got to three local charities: Cavendish Cancer Care, Sheffield Childrens Hospital Charity and Weston Park Cancer Charity.

This 'It's a Knockout' inspired event is raising funds for three life-changing local charities: Cavendish Cancer Care, the Children’s Hospital Charity and Weston Park Cancer Charity.
Participants will battle it out against other teams in an inflatable obstacle course. It will be jam packed with family-friendly liveliness with traditional game stalls, food trucks, raffles and local business stalls. Join the fun and enter a team with your friends, family or colleagues. You can also come along to watch and cheer on the teams taking part.

 Live music at Get Together
Now in its fourth year, Get Together has earnt a reputation as one of the best festivals for original and independent music, art, food and drink.
The festival returns to the warehouses, breweries and unconventional spaces of Kelham Island and Neepsend next month for another massive multi-stage takeover.

The World Snooker Championship is professional snooker's longest-running and most prestigious tournament, and has been held at Sheffield's landmark Crucible Theatre since 1977.
