 Sheffield Botanical Gardens pavillion
Find out how different plants in the gardens link to cultures across Sheffield and the world. There will be different stalls, each celebrating a culture, featuring activities for all ages such as food tasting, dance performances, arts and crafts.
This exciting, family-friendly event was created by Year 12 students as part of the Sheffield Girls' Sixth Form Enrichment Programme.

Join the Tropical Butterfly House for their 30th birthday celebrations!
This weekend they'll be hosting a weekend packed with fun and family-friendly activities to celebrate the landmark birthday for the wildlife conservation park.

'Dreams and Realities' is an exhibition of portraits by Sheffield based artist Stephen Martin depicting nine individuals all connected through a local community choir, and their stories living on the front line of poverty.

Join Sheffield Symphony Orchestra for an evening of music by three composers who all experienced synaesthesia - a neurological condition where musical keys and notes are associated with colours. The colourful compositions will be:

Sheffield Folk Sessions Festival brings pubs around the Kelham Island area to life with a weekend of song.
Expect singing sessions, instrumental sessions and workshops. There's usually also a concert on Sunday afternoon. All events are free with donations collected for the festival's chosen charity.

 Park Hill Uprise - Urban Hill Climb
There is lots happening across Sheffield as part of the month-long celebration of the Outdoor City.
This weekend is the Park Hill Uprise: Urban Hill Climb where commuter heroes, club riders, have-a-go-heroes and all riders in between will compete in a thrilling race which includes challenging cobbled climbs.
You can also try stand up paddle boarding, take part in a social bike ride, have a go at orienteering and much more.

Join archaeologists in excavating the remains of Sheffield Castle! This is a rare opportunity to experience a live archaeological dig and discover Sheffield’s heritage first-hand.
Participants will be outside digging for much of the day, so please dress appropriately for the weather. All volunteers must wear steel-toe-cap boots. If you do not have your own, there will be limited sizes that can be borrowed.

The Rock N Roll Circus is where the best in musical talent meets the weird and wonderful world of the circus.

More than 50 ceramic artists, potters and sculptors from Sheffield and beyond will be exhibiting and selling their work over the two-day festival at Kelham Island Museum.
