 Sheffield Botanical Gardens where the Plant Swap takes place
Bring your spare house plants, plant babies or even mature plants along to swap and share at the next Sheffield Plant Swap at the Dorothy Fox Education Centre in the Botanical Gardens.
The Plant Swap is run by two friends who like plants and want to bring people together in an informal, social setting to exchange plants as well tips and knowledge.
All welcome (people and plants alike) – just make sure your plants are rooted, so they have the best chance to thrive in their new home.

Create your own beautiful handtied bouquet in the working greenhouse at Sheffield Botanical Gardens.
Using seasonal British grown flowers and sustainable floristry techniques you will learn the basics of how to condition your flowers and make a handtied bouquet. You will take home a beautiful bouquet which can be a gift to yourself or a loved one.

Join this guided walk through the Victorian Wardsend Cemetery, telling the stories and visiting the graves of the victims of the wild waters of 1864.

Sheffield Cycling 4 All is running cycling sessions between Monday and Thursday (10.30am - 1.30pm) in Hillsborough park.
They offer cycling to anyone who is disabled or has a long-term health condition and can’t ride a two-wheel cycle.
'Pet' is an exhibition of new work by painter Zoe Spowage. Made while pregnant with her first child, these ten new paintings manifest the “musings and anxieties” the artist felt during this transformative time in her life.
The work was completed in mid-November 2023, with her son born by the end of the month.

Expect a mix of music from: The Lemur Conspiracy, MYNA, Westfoord, SADBOT, SHY-TOWN and Jacob Beswick.
The event will be raising money for three charities: Snowdrop Project, working with survivors of human trafficking in South Yorkshire; LASS, Supporting and empowering LBTQ+ and non-binary identifying asylum seekers and refugees in Sheffield; and Time To Be Out, who support LGBT + asylum seekers and refugees in England and Wales.

Come along for a captivating fusion of creativity and scientific discovery at this annual science and art mash-up from Sheffield Hallam University's Biomolecular Sciences Research Centre.
Thursday, March 14th Millennium Gallery Free, donations welcome
Join artist Tina Ramos Ekongo to create and decorate your own banner for International Women’s Day, inspired by campaigners for women's and girls' rights.
Tina will introduce you to the process and guide you step by step to make your own inspirational banner to take home. All ages and abilities are welcome, and all materials are included.

 Festival of Debate
The lineup for the UK's largest annual non-partisan politics festival has been announced!
Expect another challenging and diverse programme of events, featuring an array of well-known keynote speakers, when the festival returns for their tenth edition.
April 16th - May 25th Various venues Many events in the programme are free
Join an epic day of adventure, stunning Peak District views, and the well-known Sheffield community spirit - all while raising funds for motor neurone disease research at the University of Sheffield.
Choose a challenging 20 mile (32km) hike via Hathersage and part of the Sheffield Round Walk or push yourself to the limit with a 30 mile (48km) trek past Grindleford and Baslow then back to the city.

Following the phenomenal success of the Northern Soul BBC Prom last summer at the Royal Albert Hall, writer and BBC Radio 6 Music broadcaster Stuart Maconie, alongside the BBC Concert Orchestra and Manchester’s composer and conductor Joe Duddell, present Northern Soul Orchestrated.
The tour promises to transport audiences back in time capturing the spirit of a movement.

In recent years, Croft House Theatre Company has brought the hit musicals 'Kinky Boots', 'Calendar Girls' and 'Cats' to Sheffield audiences. With a twenty-piece orchestra, opulent set and costumes, and a fantastic cast, 'Sunset Boulevard' promises to bring some Hollywood glamour and magic to the Lyceum stage for one week only.

Join Sheffield Symphony Orchestra for an evening of music by three composers who all experienced synaesthesia - a neurological condition where musical keys and notes are associated with colours. The colourful compositions will be:
