September is coming to an end but as we head into October events in Sheffield are still going strong. From music and film to markets and family fun, there's a lot happening in our city!
People drumming and dancing in the city centre for Yorkshire Integration Festival
Organised by Migration Yorkshire, this family-friendly event will celebrate the integration of refugees, and all of our communities in Yorkshire and Humber, through music, food, performances and other activities.

Sensoria
Sensoria is the UK’s festival of film & music, presenting a unique mix of live performances, film screenings, installations, and exhibitions plus music and film industry activity at venues across Sheffield.
This year's programme of events include live performances from the likes of The Black Dog and Nordic Giants, Synth Fest, an exhibition in at Moore Street Substation, intimate live performance in Bishops' House and a night showcasing the influence of videogame scores in conjunction with Reel Steel.

October is Black History Month. The theme for 2023 'Saluting our Sisters' pays homage to black women who had contributions ignored, ideas appropriated, and voices silenced.
A range of events are taking place across Sheffield celebrating black history, culture, art, music, film, dance and more.

Sheffield's annual festival celebrating books, words and ideas! Off the Shelf is one of the UK’s largest literary festivals.
This year’s festival will host more than 70 live and online events across the city including:

Stormtroopers at Out of this World
The event of the year for anyone who enjoys sci-fi, comic books, gaming, magic, illusion, Halloween and all things spooky.
With stalls, street entertainment, magic shows, activities and fairground rides, there'll be lots to see and do, so don your favourite fancy dress and join in the fun.
Out of This World, Sunday 22 October, 10.30am-5.30pm Split in to zones at Winter Garden, Tudor Square, the Town Hall, Millennium Square, the Peace Gardens and Barker's Pool Free to attend with some paid for activities
Sheffield International Market
Market Place Europe return to Sheffield with another exciting international market this autumn.
Expect a vibrant mix of fine food, drinks, plants and crafts from across the world.
