Experience Virtual Reality in the Community

Enter digitally created worlds using a VR headset. We're taking the virtual reality sessions we've been running in the Central Library out to you local library with all new experiences. Find yourself in the shoes of a teenager as she discovers her mother’s punk past; attend one of the South Asian daytime raves that took place in the UK in the 80s and 90s; and hear what earlier generations thought life would be like today.

These sessions are free and take place on a drop in basis. All are between 1pm - 4pm and are happening at the following libraries.

Monday 14th August – Ecclesall Library

Tuesday 15th August – Chapeltown Library

Monday 21st August – Crystal Peaks Library

Friday 25th August – Firth Park Library

Friday 1st September – Stocksbridge Library
