A brand-new special school offering 200 places to children and young people with special educational needs has been given the go ahead.
We have worked with Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council to develop a bid for the provision, which was approved by the Secretary of State this week.
Healthy Start
If you’re more than 10 weeks pregnant or have a child under 4, you may be entitled to get help to buy healthy food and milk. Please apply on the NHS website to make use of this benefit.

All voters in England will need to bring photo ID to vote at polling stations on 4th May. Make sure you are registered to vote and check you have ID from the list. You will not need photo ID if you vote by post.

There is just one day left for businesses in Sheffield to apply for grants of up to £50,000 to transform under-used spaces on Fargate.
An exciting planning application has been submitted by the Council for the transformation of the Castle site public space, including an events space, new public art and opening up the River Sheaf.
As part of the ongoing regeneration and improvements being delivered across Sheffield City Centre and surrounding neighbourhoods, work will soon start at Kelham and Neepsend as well as the area around West Bar.
