DACT are seeking to appoint a Commissioning Officer to lead on aspects of work related to sexual and reproductive health and substance misuse. The post will sit within a commissioning team who have public health responsibilities for drugs and alcohol, sexual and reproductive health and domestic and sexual abuse.
The role will include involvement in all aspects of the commissioning cycle such as procurement, contract and performance management and managing relationships with providers.

Shelter are wanting to make people and agencies aware that they are going to be advertising for 2 x vacancies for the role of Tele-Fundraising Intern at Shelter in Sheffield in the near future.
The Tele-Fundraising Internship gives people with experience of homelessness and other disadvantages (including but not limited to; experience of the criminal justice system, mental ill-health, money/debt issues or substance misuse) access to paid employment, training and personal development opportunities. The internship lasts for up to 12 months, and each Intern receives training and enhanced support to give them the skills and confidence they need to secure meaningful employment at the end. This is an opportunity to learn skills, gain on the job experience and be supported to move on to employment after the internship.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for many supporters seeking information about Shelter’s work; they will have excellent communication and administrative skills and a real interest in housing issues. Their tasks will include calling existing supporters to welcome them to the organization, thanking them for choosing to support us, undertaking quality control surveys and ensuring the accuracy of supporter data.

Sector Routeways
Sector Routeways gives local people the opportunity to gain skills, undertake work experience and enter sustained employment in one of Sheffield’s growth sectors.
Each routeway consists of 2 weeks of training, with a work placement shortly after. Previous qualifications and experience are not required. Future ‘bootcamp’ start dates are:
