A gritter spreads grit in Sheffield City Centre
With icy conditions, freezing temperatures and even some snow forecast tonight and over the next week, our gritting programme is in full swing.
Our winter operations teams are on hand 24/7 when snow or ice arrives and with a fleet of 19 gritters and over 2,200 grit bins placed across Sheffield, we're ready for whatever the weather has in store.
