Every September, Sheffield Drug & Alcohol Coordination Team (DACT) sponsors National Recovery Month to increase awareness and understanding of substance use disorders, celebrate the people who recover and to stand together with those who are struggling with substance abuse.
Cycle September is back and Sheffield is taking part! We’re encouraging as many people as possible to take part in this global bike challenge to win prizes and help your workplace top the leader boards. Registering is free and takes less than 30 seconds.
We hold monthly online information events, where you can find out what it’s really like to be a foster carer. You’ll hear from our friendly fostering team, social workers, and foster carers, and be able to ask any questions.
