Members of the Sheffield Street Tree Partnership
A new chair has been appointed to the Sheffield Street Tree Partnership and is already playing an active role in steering the invaluable work of the group.
Earlier this summer, Nathan Edwards, Director of Urban Wilderness, took over from Liz Ballard, CEO of Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust, who has played a pivotal part in progressing the delivery of the Sheffield Street Tree Strategy since 2019.

Streets Ahead operatives clearing a gully in Sheffield
Our gully cleaning programme takes place all year round and helps to minimise the impact of heavy rain on the highway.
As part of our routine schedule, we write to residents to let them know when we'll be clearing gullies on their street. Often we are unable to access the gullies due to parked cars which can severely impact our progress.
If we are due to clear the gullies on your road please remember to move your vehicle so that we have full access when carrying out these important works.
