Girls having a kick about at Sheffield WEURO Roadshow
After being postponed in 2021, the countdown is nearly over and UEFA Women's EURO 2022 is finally here - kicking off next Wednesday, 6 July, at Old Trafford.
Sheffield's first fixture is next Saturday 9 July and we've got a month long festival of football to celebrate!

WEURO2022 fixtures at Bramall Lane, Sheffield
Bramall Lane will stage three very exciting group stage fixtures, with the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland all going head to head.

Fan parties will take over Devonshire Green each match day
On all match days a neutral zone fan party will take place where both local and visiting footy fans can come together to celebrate and build the pre-match excitement.
Similarly to the recent WEURO 2022 Roadshow in the Peace Gardens, Devonshire Green will be transformed in to a mini-festival with
- live music and entertainment,
- legends of the women's game,
- have a go activities
- food and drink
- face painting and more

Our month long celebration starts now, with events and activities to get involved in from today!
Throughout July checkout the monoliths that have popped up across the city centre, at Sheaf square, Town Hall and the Cathedral and learn more about the history of women's football in Sheffield.

Explore and celebrate the significant role that women's football plays in our lives - building stronger communities, providing local economic growth, supporting our mental and physical wellbeing, and creating diverse social connections.
Plus your chance to learn and rehearse the official local anthem created especially for WEURO 2022!
Part of Showroom Cinema's WEURO 2022 screenings catch this 00s classic, which takes us on a journey through the eyes of two ambitious girls who have their hearts set out on careers in professional football.

Concrete block artworks inspired by WEURO2022 will be installed throughout the city centre, following a competition by local organisation ArtWorks, and part of the cultural and heritage programme.

Transforming Tudor Square into a fun festival space with events including street acts, music, poetry and theatre in celebration of the history of football in Sheffield.

Showroom's WEURO 2022 celebration screenings continue. Dutch coach Thomas Rongen attempts the nearly impossible task of turning the American Samoa soccer team from perennial losers into winners.

A display of dance and holographic images takes over the Peace Gardens.

Representing all aspects of the beautiful game, The Football Art Prize has drawn submissions from across the globe.
The works by the 50 shortlisted artists span scenes of glory, defeat, loyalty and passion.

To help supporters get safely from Fan Parties at Devonshire Green to the stadium at Bramall Lane, some road closures will be in place along the Fan Walk route.
More than 500,000 tickets sold
More than 500,000 tickets have now been sold for fixtures across England.
Tickets are still available for the four matches taking place at Bramall Lane.
Priced from as little as £5 up to £50 and a family of four can watch some of the world’s best players from just £30 or £45 for England games, a semi-final or the final.
