Armed Forces and Veterans Day in the Peace Gardens
Armed Forces and Veterans Day honours the outstanding contribution made by current members of the armed forces and by veterans of all ages.
Watch the veterans’ parade and ceremony, tap your toes and sing along to the Ashby Big Band. Plus see the displays and find out more about cadets, the armed forces and the armed forces covenant.

Sheffield's Migration Matters Festival - featuring 50 arts events across 23 city venues - begins tomorrow (17 Jun).
All events are pay-as-you-feel with free options and the event celebrates all of the city's different communities and cultures.

British author, poet and playwright Lemn Sissay has had an extraordinary life. Hear all about it in a fascinating night of spoken word featuring Lemn's book My Name is Why.
Combine the science of forensic anthropology with fact-based stories of resistance in REWIND, one of 11 theatre shows that form the festival.
Take the little ones to a special theatre experience with Little Bean Reads, the only bilingual Cantonese/English theatre in the UK, sharing stories of love, home and courage.
Issues surrounding migration, home, borders and identity pose some of the biggest questions of our time. Akeim Toussaint Buck addresses these and more in his dance theatre solo show.
