- It is now no longer a legal requirement to self-isolate if you have covid symptoms, test positive with either an LFD or PCR or are a close contact of a positive case, regardless of vaccination status.
- Instead, you are advised to stay at home and avoid contact with other people.
- After 5 days, complete an LFD test on 2 consecutive days and check that these are negative, before returning to your normal routine.

- PCR testing for the general public will end on 31 March. You won’t be able to book a PCR test from 1 April.
- There are some people who will still be able to access priority PCR testing such as those most at-risk.
- You can still book a PCR test if you have symptoms up until this date. Book here
- Contact tracing ended on 24 February, which means you will no longer be contacted if you have been near someone who has tested positive for Covid-19.
- Free LFD testing for the general public will end on 1 April . You will be able to order LFD tests for free until 31 March.
- On 1 April you will have to pay for LFD tests. The Government is working with shops so that everyone that wants a test will be able to buy one.
