“It is exactly one year since the murder of George Floyd by a police officer in Minneapolis.
“Twelve months on, it is vital that we keep talking about race, and that we listen to and act on the experiences of our black communities, including here in Sheffield.
Sheffield residents can sign up to receive alerts from South Yorkshire Police about local policing issues.
Registering for alerts is completely free and once you have signed-up, you can choose how you want to receive the messages - by text, email or voice message - and what you want to receive messages about.
