The 2021 resurfacing programme resumed at the beginning of April, with roads and footpaths across the city set to be improved.
Taking advantage of the Easter break, Streets Ahead teams began resurfacing some roads and footpaths closest to local schools, whilst traffic and footfall was reduced.

As part of our new approach to managing street trees, a number of street tree consultations are available to take part in online.
The Sheffield Tree Partnership have developed a draft Sheffield Street Tree Partnership Working Strategy. This sets out our commitment to explain to local residents the reasons behind decisions to remove and replace trees, and provide the opportunity to challenge these decisions through an open and transparent process.
