Everyone registered to vote by 19 April will have at least 3 votes on 6 May:
- Local Elections
- Governance Referendum
- Police & Crime Commissioner
Voting is safe, quick and easy. We’re working hard to make voting as Covid-19 safe as possible - find out more about elections in Sheffield at www.sheffield.gov.uk/sheffvotes
 Look out for your poll notice (card) for more information about the elections. If you're registered to vote you should now have received this in the post. It will look a bit different and come in an envelope this year with 'Official Poll Card - Elections 2021' on it (see above).
If you are a polling station voter it will include a postal vote application form to complete and return - if you'd prefer to vote by post return this in the post asap. Your postal vote application will cover all elections and referenda, so you only need to fill out one form.

Over 90% of people in Sheffield are already registered to vote. If you're one of the 10% make sure you're registered by 19 April to vote on 6 May.
You don't need to register separately for every election, you only need to register once and it's quick and easy.
If you've moved home recently you'll need to register again.
