Business Rates bills for 2021/22 were due to be produced and issued this week. However based on advice from central Government, the issuing of these bills will be delayed following today’s announcements in the Chancellor’s Budget speech regarding the extension of business rates relief for certain types of businesses into 2021/22.
Details on when bills be issued and the impact that the announcements will have on businesses in Sheffield will be given once we have further information from Government on the relief extension. Updates will be provided on the Sheffield City Council website, here.
