 It’s cold outside so when better to snuggle up with a good book. Our Order and Collect service continues to run from all our libraries, and you can now reserve books through our online catalogue.
If you don't fancy venturing outside, then remember we have thousands of eBooks, eAudio, eMagazines, and eComics available for members to download from the eLibrary.
We have moved back to a 3 week loan period, but have extended the exemption of fines until 31st March 2021.
Winter Reading Challenge for Kids
If your children enjoyed taking part in this year’s Silly Squad Summer Reading Challenge why not join them up for the Everyone Is A Hero Winter Mini Challenge?
The challenge runs until Friday 15th January. All children have to do is read three books of their choice and then rate and review them at Challenge website.
Books added to the website during the six week Mini Challenge period will unlock special rewards including a certificate and virtual badge.
Christmas Craft for Families
Local author Suzy Senior has filmed two Christmas themed story and craft sessions based on her books, Tales from Christmas Wood and A Pirate Christmas. Both will be featured on our Facebook page on Saturday 5th and 12th December.
Have a go at making your own gingerbread and create your very own ship’s guinea pig! If you would like to read Suzy’s books they are available to order from your local library.
