From Wednesday 2 December at 00:01 Sheffield will enter Tier 3 the ‘very high’ alert level for Coronavirus restrictions, along with the rest of South Yorkshire.

A new Restart and Recovery fund, which will be available from Wednesday 2nd December, will help businesses who have been unable to trade conventionally during the Covid-19 lockdowns adapt using technology and other initiatives.

What to do if you have signs or symptoms?

If you have any of the main symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19), you must self-isolate and get a test as soon as possible.

There are now 6 testing centres in Sheffield at the following locations:

You should only book a test if you have symptoms of Covid-19. Tests must be pre-booked and can only be booked via the national NHS portal online nhs.uk/coronavirus or by calling 119. Stay at home and continue to self-isolate until you get your test results - only leave home to have a test.

Essential Supertram works - Saturday 28 November - Sunday 29 November

Supertram will be carrying out essential overhead line repairs on the Supertram network on the night of Saturday 28 November through into Sunday 29 November.

As a result of these works, late evening services on Saturday will be revised on the Blue and Purple routes. Trams on the Yellow route and Tram Train routes are unaffected and will continue to operate as advertised.
