Sheffield’s primary school children are being invited to showcase their artistic talents by creating designs for two of the city’s gritting lorries, which form part of the fleet helping to keep Sheffield safe during winter.
The deadline for entries has now been extended until next Sunday 8th November.
‘Sammy Snow’ and ‘Gertie Gritter’ are both in need of a new coat and we’re asking for some eye catching designs from the city’s youngsters to help spruce them up!
The competition is split into two age groups; 4-7 years and 8-11 years and children can enter as an individual, class or group.
Why not ask your children or any other artistic youngsters you know to get creative and give one of our iconic yellow gritters a brand new coat ready for Winter 2020?
