Green-fingered TARA helps keep estate tidy

Members of Binsted Tenants and Residents Association have been putting their spare time to good use by helping to keep their estate tidy and safe for others.

The TARA bought its own gardening equipment and have been helping tenants with overgrown spots near their homes, making it easier to use for people in wheelchairs and those with mobility problems. It holds regular walkabouts, identifying areas that need attention and asking tenants for permission to sort problem patches out.

As the area is home to an older community, this work is especially important and will continue while-ever it’s needed.
