Heart of the City II
Heart of the City II has already attracted a number of high-profile international companies to the area, including HSBC, Radisson Blu, fashion brands, Weekday and Monki, alongside local firms such as Marmaduke's.
The scheme is delivering on a key outcomes: safeguarding jobs and creating new employment opportunities. Cabinet will also be asked to authorise the release of Block G – the former South Yorkshire Fire Authority Headquarters site.

30 Electric Vans will soon be available for businesses to trial in a new project being delivered by us with funding from Highways England’s Designated Fund for Air Quality. The project will provide vans for a two-month trial period to let businesses ‘try before they buy’.
“The Council is committed to enhancing walking and cycling as a means of reducing congestion, improving air quality, increasing physical activity and creating attractive places. Covid-19 presented an opportunity to trial pedestrianisation and dedicated cycle lanes in a number of areas.

SYPTE say that passengers have been positive about wearing face coverings with use on buses up from under 10% to over 80% in one week. Thanks to everyone who has helped protect staff and other passengers.
