 Playgrounds and outdoor equipment in Sheffield's parks will not be reopening yet. We must ask you not to use them for a little longer, until safety measures are in place. We will provide an update as soon as possible.
You can still have fun in our many green spaces but please stay off the equipment for now. Thank you!

 Libraries in Sheffield and their staff have missed you. We are working hard to reopen as soon and as safely as we can. This will be in phases over the next few months as we services open to the public again.

We have developed a Local Outbreak Control Plan which is designed to help prevent outbreaks of COVID-19 wherever possible, and includes the steps we may need to take if an outbreak occurs in Sheffield.

If you are shielding because you’re clinically extremely vulnerable, the Government's advice is due to change from Monday 6 July.
- You can then spend time outdoors in a group of up to six people, while social distancing
- If you live alone or as a single-parent household, you can form a ‘support bubble’ with one other household
Letters have been sent to all adult care providers in the city to extend our gratitude to them for everything they have done, and are continuing to do, during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The letters gave an update on the financial position for July, emphasised that we are here to help all providers and set out how we will be working with them over the coming weeks.

 A fully segregated cycle link will be introduced between Shalesmoor roundabout and Corporation St this weekend, as part of our active travel scheme to encourage people to make walking, running and cycling their preferred mode of transport as the city eases out of lockdown.
