A number of rainbows appeared on roads outside the city’s hospitals over the weekend as a thank you to key workers for helping to keep us all safe and well during Covid 19.
Working throughout the night, the council’s highways contractor Amey applied rainbow artwork and wording to the main routes outside key hospital sites, visible to those continuing to make essential journeys.
Relationship Matters is a new partnership between 15 Local Authorities across Yorkshire and the Humber Region helping families who may be having relationship difficulties.

Free city centre parking for key workers in car parks managed by Sheffield City Council has been extended until the end of Monday 18th May, whilst the Council reviews the latest Government guidance.

Online domestic abuse reporting tool launched
Victims of domestic abuse in South Yorkshire will now be able to report incidents to South Yorkshire Police via a dedicated online portal. The portal is available to victims of domestic abuse who may be finding it difficult to report incidents over the phone. You can access the portal here.
