Big City Conversation survey extended
We’ve been talking to people and gathering views as part of The Big City Conversation since October.
In the Big City Conversation online survey, people have told us the thing they like best about Sheffield are the parks and open spaces, and the top 3 things that need improvement are levels of congestion, crime and public transport.
Do you agree? Is there something you would like to add? Have your say – we’ve extended the survey until 14 February – so please get involved!
We want to hear from everybody who calls Sheffield home. We want you to tell us about the issues that are important to you and in your communities right across Sheffield, and to understand how you want to get involved in helping to solve them
Community events to tell us what you think
We have two remaining community events coming up this week, so please come along to one and talk to us for a couple of minutes about what matters to you. What do you love about Sheffield and what they don't - and importantly how we can make improvements. We've got these events set up:
- 24th January 2020, Asda Store, Parsons Cross, S5 8NH, 12 noon - 2pm
- 25th January 2020, Hillsborough Exchange (near Home Bargains), S6 4HL, 11am - 3pm
We’ve also put out some feedback boxes around the city so you can post anything you’d like to tell us in one of those. You can find the feedback boxes in libraries, Howden House, Housing First Points, Sheffield MIND,Heeley City Farm, Shipshape, Reach, the Carers centre, Arbourthorne centre, Family Centres (including Highfield, Darnall, Early days (Southey), First Start (Firth Park), Valley park, Primrose (Walkley), and Centre in the Park at Norfolk Park.
We've held events at various locations in the City Centre, Crystal Peaks, Fox Valley, Asda at Handsworth, Woodhouse Library, Sainsbury's on Archer Road where we've spoken to hundreds of people and got some great feedback on things about Sheffield.

Over 2,600 people have told us what's important to them - we'd like your feedback too...
We're currently having a Big City Conversation with residents, partners, community groups and others across the city about what matters to them, and we'd like as many people as possible to get involved.
We've already had feedback from over 2,600 Sheffielders from every part of the city about a wide range of issues that matter to them, their communities and neighbourhoods. People have been talking to us about public transport, housing, activities for young people and how they want to get involved in decisions that affect their neighbourhoods. If you've not had chance to get involved already, please click the button below to take part in the online survey
