We are set to approve the Housing Revenue Account Business Plan for 2020/2021, which includes proposals to invest £500 million over the next five years into building new homes and improving existing council housing.
Sheffield Town Hall
We want to hear from local people and businesses to help us decide our spending priorities so we can set the Council’s budget for the next financial year (April 2020 to March 2021). The Budget Consultation Survey is live until Friday 24th January 2020.
Year of reading
Sheffield’s Year of Reading launches across the city on 15th January 2020. From launch day onwards, people from across the city will be asked to tell us what their favourite read is and they will be in with a chance of winning a £100 book token if they take part.
Condoms
People in Sheffield can now access a wider range of contraception and sexual health support in their local area, thanks to Sexual Health Sheffield’s new service. The service also aims to make it more convenient to access emergency contraception and ree condoms and STI self-testing kits can be ordered online or collected from venues across the city.
