Abbeyfield Primary Academy 19/11/19 4:30 pm School OPEN tomorrow

Abbeyfield Primary Academy is open tomorrow (Weds 20th). We have a temporary generator to give us power while electricity work continues outside school.

There are temporary lights in Orphanage Road because of the roadworks from the electricity company. Traffic will be very busy tomorrow morning. Due to the roadworks, Orphanage Road will be ONE WAY ONLY tomorrow. Cars can enter from Barnsley Road and leave down Roe Lane. School staff will help direct cars.

Parents will not be able to stop outside school or park on Orphanage Road at all tomorrow. We are asking all parents to park a little further away as this will help everyone get into school. Please use Firs Hill Crescent or another nearby street to drop off children or park.

Registers will stay open later tomorrow because of the disruption. Children can go straight into class while the doors are open. Once doors are closed, please could children go to the office.

There will be some unavoidable disruption tomorrow but we will do our best to keep it to a minimum. Thanks to all parents for your patience so far and your help in the morning.
