Using words from local farmers and stunning photographs from the authors; this illustrated talk tells of local farming history and will appeal to anyone interested in wildlife conservation, land management and the glorious Peak landscape.

Join Sheffield's silver-tongued septuaganian, Sheridan Shacklethwaite, broadcaster, historian and after tea speaker, for a light-hearted exploration of the vast basement of the Central Library. Navigate the hitherto unchartered regions, that are not normally seen by the public. Allow your senses to become dislocated among the labryinthine bookshelves on this vaguely historical, mildly accurate, thoroughly researched, completly made up, yet hugely enjoyable tour.
Stairs, low light levels and confined spaces involved. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
