The 'Promoting Independence Project' will support people with mental health conditions.

 The 'Promoting Independence Project' has been set up to empower people who are currently living in full-time residential or nursing care as a result of mental health conditions, to make the move towards supported housing and independent living.

City chosen for England UEFA Women’s Euro 2021

UEFA in Sheffield

Sheffield will host matches in the 2021 UEFA Euro Women's Championships.

The FA has today confirmed the final venues selected for the next edition of the UEFA European Women’s Championship, which will be played across eight English host cities in the summer of 2021; including Sheffield, Rotherham and Manchester.

New litter bins for cleaner, greener parks

New litter bins are to be installed at 20 different locations across the city, complete with equipment and information to help volunteers to effectively collect and arrange for disposal of the litter from their park.
