Sheffield’s Household Waste
Recycling Centres will soon be changing to the winter opening times. From 1
October 2018 until 31 March 2019, the opening times will be 10am until 4pm.
The five Household Waste Recycling Centres are run by
Veolia on behalf of Sheffield City Council and are provided for residents to
dispose of their household waste.
All materials brought to the site are recycled wherever
possible including green waste, electrical goods, and furniture.
If you wish to visit any of the sites in a van, a 4x4
with pick up, or with a trailer, you will require a permit. Apply for a permit by
calling Veolia on 0114 273 4567 or emailing sheffieldenquiries@veolia.co.uk.
These sites are for the use of Sheffield residents and
not for traders, who must use a properly licensed waste disposal sites.
