Connexions Sandwell record-breaking success
The recent New Year New Start careers fair (Saturday 1 February) was the highest attended in Connexions Sandwell's history.
Over 2,500 attended the event and met with 50 exhibitors, including universities, sixth forms, the Royal Navy, Doocey Group and more.
Connexions advisors were on hand to provide advice and support to young people and their parents on what careers paths are open to them.
The next big Connexions event will be the Careers EXPO at the SHAPE Festival at Sandwell Valley Park on Saturday 12 July 12-3pm.
Connexions Sandwell offers face-to-face appointments on Mondays and Thursdays between 10am and 2pm. You will need to book an appointment – call us on 0121 569 2955. You can find us at the One Stop Shop, Sandwell Council House, Freeth Street, Oldbury, B69 3DB.

Love shouldn't hurt!
We are supporting Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Awareness Week.
We want to encourage victims of sexual abuse and violence to speak out, promote services that support survivors of sexual abuse and share ways to prevent sexual assault.
Nearly half a million adults report being sexually assaulted in England and Wales each year, but real figures could be much higher, since many more instances go unreported.
(BCWA) provide support to those who have experienced rape, sexual violence and childhood sexual abuse. Male victims can contact for support.
