πŸ₯‡πŸ“’ Build your own scarecrow and enter our competition, to be in the chance to win some great prizes!

πŸŽ“ Schools, nurseries, community groups, and SEND groups are all welcome to enter.

♻️ Build your unique scarecrow with straw or recyclable materials. The theme is β€˜traditional scarecrow' but we welcome all creativity!

🚸 Register your class or group for FREE by Friday 17 May.

πŸšœπŸ” Drop off your creations by Monday 20 - Thursday 23 May. And visit the Scarecrow Festival 2024 to see all your hard work, and vote for your favourite.

πŸ† Winners get a FREE visit to Forge Mill Farm for the whole class and will be announced by the week commencing 3 June.

No changes to bin collections over Easter

There are no changes to bin collections over Easter

πŸ—“ Please put your bins out as normal on Good Friday and Easter Monday if those are your usual bin days. Don't forget, you can recycle your Easter egg packaging in your blue lid bin.

❗ The tip is also operating as normal over the Bank Holiday, open 8am-4pm every day. Book a slot at the tip.


Easter weekend - Welcoming Spaces are open for you across Sandwell

If you need somewhere to safe and warm to sit, chat or relax over the Easter break, there are Welcoming Spaces you can drop in at across Sandwell. You don’t need to book, just go along.

Find your nearest Easter Welcoming Space via the council website.

✨ The West Midlands is turning 50 and our friends at United by 2022 want to thank volunteers across the region. Nominees will be highlighted throughout the summer and invited to an exciting celebration of volunteering.
