The Sandwell Museums & Arts Service spring and summer events programme is here.

Check out their opening days between April and September:

Haden Hill House Museum: Thursdays and Fridays 10am-5pm, Saturdays and Sundays 2pm-6pm
Oak House Museum: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 11am-4pm, Sundays 11am-2pm
Wednesbury Museum & Art Gallery: Wednesdays and Thursdays 11am-4pm, Saturdays 11am-2pm
Bromwich Hall Museum (West Bromwich Manor House): From 15 April open Tuesdays and once a month on Saturdays 11am-3pm
Galton Valley Pumping Station: Every second Saturday of the month 11am-3pm

We're really excited to be hosting our very first Dog Day at Sandwell Valley Country Park tomorrow (Saturday 15 April). Free entry from 10am-4pm.

Meet at the visitor centre on Salters Lane and join the Sandwell Valley pack walk from 11am-1pm.

Speak to behavioural therapists if you have any problems or questions about your dog.

Treat your furry friend to quality handmade bandanas and bow ties.

Pick up some tasty treats for your pup from the gift shop.

Five minutes is all it takes to register to vote – and, if you're not already registered, you have until midnight on Monday (17 April) to register in time to vote in the Local Elections in May.

Don't forget – if you don't have any photo ID, you have until 5pm on 25 April to get some free ID to use at a polling station on Thursday 4 May.

Did you come to our first Digbeth Dining Club event at Sandwell Valley Country Park?

The rain didn't keep you away and we're really pleased with the feedback we've had so far

Let's hope the sun shines for us at the next one on Saturday 22 April. Tickets won't be required, it will be FREE to enter and the event will be extended onto the paddock in front of the farm.

Primary School Places Offer day - Monday 17 April 2023

If you applied for a primary school place for this September, you will find out which school you've been offered on Monday (17 April).

Emails will be sent throughout the day or you can log into the system to check which school your child has been offered.

If you are unable to accept your offer straight away, please try again later.

Celebrate the Kings Coronation in Sandwell - Big Picnic Lunch

Celebrate The King's Coronation on Sunday 7 May with a LIVE screening of the Windsor Castle Coronation Concert.

Bring your sandwiches and snacks and join us for a fantastic evening of live entertainment and local talent at Sandwell Valley Country Park.

Local performers Street food Community stalls Children's activities

And it's not too late to organise a Street Meet or Street Party for the Coronation. Applications for Street Parties that require a temporary road closure must be submitted by 23 April.
