Get into the artistic FLOW
Join artists and natural play experts at Bromwich Hall from 3-17 August for the FLOW Festival of bold and imaginative arts and culture made with, by and for children in Sandwell and Birmingham.
The three weeks of FREE fantastic family activities take place in the grounds of Bromwich Hall (also known as the Manor House) in Hall Green Road, West Bromwich, in a shipping container designed by children – a place to play and be creative. There will be something new every day, with activities taking place daily (apart from Sundays).
Find out the full programme of activities.
The FLOW Festival is produced and curated by The Parakeet Studio CIC for the Birmingham 2022 Festival.

Young people swim for free during school holidays
If you’re feeling inspired by events in the pool during the Commonwealth Games, don’t forget that people aged 18 and under swim for free during the summer holidays.
Our friends Sandwell Leisure Trust and Places Leisure (for West Bromwich Leisure Centre) are offering free swimming for people aged 18 and under during school holidays. Sign up to access free swimming sessions.
After the Games, the Sandwell Aquatics Centre will be turned into a fantastic community leisure facility opening next spring. You can read more about the difference our free swimming offer and other sporting activities have already been making to boost physical health in Sandwell.
