Lockdown - January 2021
That's the spirit

Could you do your neighbours' shopping?

Sandwell still has a dangerously high infection rate - and we are seeing a worrying number of cases in people aged 65 and older.

If you have older family, friends or neighbours, please encourage them to stay at home. If you're going out for essentials, see if they need any shopping, to save them leaving the house. And don't forget to check in regularly and safely, to see if they are OK.

And please remember, if you go out for essential reasons: hands, face, space.

Be aware of scams

The Covid-19 vaccine will always be available free of charge.

Scammers are sending emails that invite users to input their bank details into a website to confirm their Covid-19 vaccine appointment.

The NHS will never ask you to share bank details or pay for a vaccine.

Report anything you receive that looks suspicious
