Great news on vaccines in Sandwell - but we all need to take care

It's fantastic to hear lots of our friends and family are getting their Covid-19 vaccinations.

Remember, you must stay at home even after you have had your vaccination and continue to follow the rules.

Please only leave home for essential reasons. Staying home saves lives.

Could you do your neighbours' shopping? Sandwell still has a dangerously high infection rate - and we are seeing a worrying number of cases in people aged 65 and older. If you have older family, friends or neighbours, please encourage them to stay at home. If you're going out for essentials, see if they need any shopping, to save them leaving the house. And don't forget to check in regularly and safely, to see if they are OK. And please remember, if you go out for essential reasons: hands, face, space.

Scammers are sending emails that invite users to input their bank details into a website to confirm their Covid-19 vaccine appointment.
