Covid-19 can kill. More than 41,600 people in the UK have already lost their lives.

Under Government restrictions for Sandwell, you must not allow people you don’t live with in your home or garden. You must not visit people you do not live with in their homes or gardens – inside or outside Sandwell.

No one wants to see another spike in deaths from Covid-19. We are already seeing a significant rise in Covid-19 patients needing critical care in our region.

Don’t take unnecessary risks because you think you’re safe. Is it worth it?

Covid-19 testing centres

❌Please DO NOT turn up to a Covid-19 testing centre without an appointment. ❌

We are aware the government is having ongoing issues with its national testing system.

We continue to alert them to the problems it is causing local people but you must have booked a test online before you go to a testing site.

❗️Update for parents❗️

Schools have been back for a week or two now and, unfortunately, some schools have had to make the difficult decision to send groups of children home.

These decisions are taken following both government and Public Health England guidance.

Where there is a positive case of Covid-19, schools have to take precautionary measures to make sure children and staff are kept safe.

We ask parents to make sure they follow the advice given to them by their child’s schools.
