On Monday (13 July) we'll be reopening the shops at Sandwell Park Farm and Forge Mill Farm

The tearooms at Sandwell Park Farm will also be open for takeaway food and drink only.

Although the farms themselves will remain closed for now, we hope to be able to tell you soon when we can reopen them.

We're getting everything ready to open our farms and you can still see some of our animals grazing outside.

There's no admission fee for visiting the shops or tearooms, which will be open every day 10am - 3pm. Toilets remain closed for now.

The Black Country - a world class site!

We are absolutely thrilled and very proud to be part of the Black Country Geopark. UNESCO has given Geopark status and we are only one of eight in the UK to get this. Remembering "The Few"

Today is the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the Battle of Britain and we remember the bravery and sacrifice of “The Few” who defended the British Isles and turned the tide of the Second World War.

Remembering everyone who served and stood together against fascism including nearly 600 aviators from outside the UK.

Tributes at Full Council meeting Sandwell councillors paid a series of tributes at last night’s Full Council virtual online meeting. Councillors held a minute’s silence for people who have died during the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as for long-serving Friar Park councillor Geoff Lewis, who died in April. NHS, care and key workers were praised for their heroic efforts in the ongoing fight against Covid-19 and a minute’s silence was held for black men and women who have died in similar circumstances to George Floyd.
