We will be mowing the grass soon . . .

We are hoping to restart limited grass cutting and grounds maintenance activities this week

Grounds maintenance staff have been supporting key council services including the emergency supplies hub, bereavement & burial services, packing and delivering food to vulnerable people, also delivering supplies to our local food banks.

We will be prioritising sites initially including where there may be a safety issue for elderly residents.

Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service

Congratulations to all our amazing volunteers.

Black Country Touring and Guru Nanak Gurdwara have been honoured with the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the highest award a voluntary group can receive in the UK.

The West Bromwich and Smethwick based organisations are among 230 charities, social enterprises and voluntary groups to receive the prestigious award this year.
