3000th parcel despatched

Sandwell Council Leader helped to send our 3000th parcel off on its journey to a happy resident.

Councillor Yvonne Davies put on record her ‘huge thanks’ to all council staff - both on the frontline and in all the vital support roles behind the scenes, as well as the many volunteers who have come forward to help.

Scam

Let’s beat the scammers

Our trading standards team want you to be on your guard against coronavirus-related scams.

Sadly there are opportunists out there who are using the coronavirus pandemic as an excuse to knock on doors and defraud people in a number of different ways.

National trading standards offers free online training modules at the  Friends Against Scams website.

Please make sure your family, friends and neighbours know about these scams and we can all help each other to stay safe and beat the scammers.
